Egis has donated 50,000 boxes of vitamin C capsules to Hungarian families coping with difficulties. The donations were taken by the Children’s Food Foundation to residents in underdeveloped regions under the “Pharmacy for the Poor” programme.

Preserving health is a huge challenge to families living in poverty. For many of them, even the smallest disease may imply high risks and may cause complications as these families cannot afford the medicines and vitamins needed for prevention and healing.
The over 2 million vitamin C capsules supplied by Egis at the value of over HUF 100 mn helped to preserve the health of 20,000 families living under difficult conditions.
